I had only one day in Valencia. It is not at all enough. Valencia is much bigger and more interesting. I could have easily spent three or even four more days. Torres de Serrano was the first monument I visited. It is a fortified gate that probably was a part of a defensive wall. It is very tall and you get a very nice view of the surrounding area from the top. There is an entrance fee of €2. That lets you enter the monument and climb the steps to the top. The steps were tall, so I had to hold the railing to climb up and down. I saw several other people who were able to climb the steps with relative ease, so it was just me. The views from the top are fantastic.

Old town gates that are in perfect condition and you can climb here. As Valencia doesn’t have a lot of view points, it could be the good one. In May 2024 tickets cost only 2 euro, no big queues either. A lot of points from where you can make a good photo. However, be careful if you are afraid of heights. There are some open spaces (i.e. without protecting glass/with low fence) and some may feel uncomfortable.

One of the main gates to the city, historically speaking. Very grand. Can pay to enter and walk to the top for views, however its not tall enough for great pictures.

A superb gateway in what was once part of the Valencia city defensive walls in the Middle Ages. In wonderful condition with amazing views from it's ramparts. A must-see visitor attraction in an incredible City that everyone must visit!

A must-see in Valencia! Huge, breathtaking towers that used to be the city gate. Nowadays you can walk through the huge gate into the old town and feel the medieval atmosphere. I definitely recommend to climb the stairs. There's no entry fee. Visit the top of the towers and enjoy the great view over Valencia. It's good not to have fear of heights though ;)
