It's nice that a piece of the history of the formation of our state and region has survived and is close by. You can watch and touch this story. I liked the embankment very much. Nicely done, well done!

A great place to relax from the hustle and bustle, and for walking with or without children ? everything is in the same style, which cannot but please the eye! there are coffee houses, where to sit down, where to have a bite, a large playground. Lots of benches. Beautiful view of the river. Along the embankment, you can ride a scooter, roller skates, and bicycles. The embankment is narrow, of course, but there were few people, so pedestrians and cyclists calmly dispersed / diverged) we will definitely come here again. The only negative is the lack of a toilet. Or rather, it is, but it was closed. It is difficult for non-locals to run around nearby establishments in search of the right place)) I had to stop by the nearest gas station on the way back home (150 km). But construction on the embankment itself continues, I think everything will be brought to mind.

A place for walking and relaxation in the historical part of the city. The Kremlin is a visiting card of the city, the only Kremlin on the territory of the Samara region, built in 1683 (the year of foundation of Syzran). The monument to the city's founder, voivode Grigory Kozlovsky, is located next to the Kremlin. The Kremlin offers a beautiful view of the river. Volga, r. Syzranka. Near the Eternal Flame, the Memorial to the Fallen during the Great Patriotic War, the Obelisk-memorial to the Victims of Local Wars, the Church of the Nativity of Christ. You can walk along the embankment, sit on benches, there are excellent photo zones. Almost always this place is visited by newlyweds on the day of marriage registration. On holidays, bells ring on the Kremlin tower. Walks along the embankment and near the Kremlin are available to any category of the population! Within walking distance from the Kremlin on the embankment there are children's and sports grounds, new photo zones, and toilets.

The historical part of the city. It is very beautiful in here! The Spasskaya Tower of the Syzran Kremlin is the same age as the city (1683). The tower is 27 meters high. You can buy a ticket (excursion from the Syzran Museum of Local Lore) and climb the steps to the tower, ring the bells. And most importantly, it offers an amazing view of the city, the river, the entire territory of the Kremlin, where the old reviving Nativity of Christ Church, the Memorial of Glory, and the Eternal Flame can be found. And next to the Kremlin, on the banks of the river, a beautiful embankment was built last year, where you can relax, take a walk, and have a snack. And so on, so on. I advise you to visit!

Trencín Castle

Trenčín Castle is relatively large renovated castle, towering on a steep limestone cliff directly above the city of Trenčín. It is a dominant feature not only of Trenčín, but also of the entire Považie region. The castle is a national monument.

History of the castle cliff dates back to the Roman Empire, what is proved by the inscription on the castle cliff proclaiming the victory of Roman legion against Germans in the year 179.

Today’s castle was probably built on the hill-fort. The first proven building on the hill was the Great Moravian rotunda from the 9th century and later there was a stone residential tower, which served to protect the Kingdom of Hungary and the western border. In the late 13th century the castle became a property of Palatine Matúš Csák, who became Mr. of Váh and Tatras.

Matúš Csák of Trenčín built a tower, still known as Matthew’s, which is a dominant determinant of the whole building.
