Woodspring Priory

Woodspring Priory is a former Augustinian priory near Sand Point, overlooking the Severn Estuary. Founded in the early 13th century, it was home to Victorine Canons who combined religious life with farming and serving local churches. The priory was dissolved in 1536 and later became a farmhouse. Today, the Grade I listed ruins are cared for by the National Trust and Landmark Trust, with the former prior’s lodging available as holiday accommodation.
