San Hipólito Church
Description
The inside of Gothic San Hipólito church is full of works of art making it a museum-like visit. It has monumental Gothic screen by Francisco de Osorno, liturgical vestments embroidered by Pedro Ruíz in the XV century and a font by Juan de Colonia. In the Sacristy there are fine Renaissance drawers whose work is anonymous.The stalls are by Fernando de Hinestrosa. As for the organ, it could be said that it is one of the oldest in Europe.There is also a Baroque reredo and high, stone reliefs decorating a a florid Gothic-style choir.
